One Year Mark photo update

I stopped using topical steroid and protopic on june 13, 2013 because i found out that I'm pregnant.. Tsw is Not easy specially when you're pregnant. But I went through it for my Little one.

Here are the update photos of my Skin after hitting my First Year anniversary.

My neck got better Last may. Also had it Diamond peeled to lighten the discoloration of my neck.

My wirst is getting Worse this june. I don't know why it flared up like this. Tsw is so unpredictable.
New flare ups on my upper right leg, Few patches on my neck started to appear after I took photo Last june 19th. And a new flare up on the crease of my right elbow.

This is new to me...my Worst nightmare, the one behind the knees! I don't want them coz i had it when i was a Child. My legs were spared during the beginning of withdrawals. Lord god please stop this illness.

I don't know if i reacted to something that I ate.. Probably carrots. But this is the First time my chest itched after it healed. If you look at my chest Last Year it was horrible! Please not again..

This is my 1 Year flare. New Spots which i Never Applied steroids on

1st Year anniversary TSW

Hooray for my First Year anniversary!!! Time flies so fast. It's Been a Year already..

Last May, we went to the Philippines for vacation. I was scared that i would flare up because of the climate. Luckily, my eczema patches dried up specially the one on my arms. We also went to the Beach..i thought Salt water would aggravate the wounds from my scratching but it didn't. Thank goodness! Warm climate plus the Beach really helped me.

Regarding of the Foods that i ate during vacation, I ate everything..no exception from cakes, meat, processed Foods etc. I don't want to stress myself during vacay. no Bad flare up though!

I also attended a wedding Last june. I got to wear make up. No Irritation at all. I also had facial done. It was Sooo good!

2 days ago, we came back from our vacation. I started to notice red itchy Spots on my wirst down to the sides of my arms.. Arrrggh! Must be the 1 Year flare. Anyways, I'll post pictures from vacay and my Skin in the next Few days..

Goodluck and we will be healed! Don't give up!

10 months tsw

My month 9 tsw was the Worst. I thought I was healing in january, I saw my Skin getting better. But as March came my Skin flared up. My hands are really dry, flaky, red and inflammed. My Arms Are rashy and some red patches Are Starting to develop Again.

My neck is getting ok, have to deal with some dry Patch Every now and then.

By the Way, Last March I started to collect my dead Skin on a small zip lock bag. I know it's disgusting but looking at it and how much skin I shed everyday makes me realize how toxic this withdrawal is. I hate it! I want it to end already!

Sometimes i think of slathering protopic on my hands. I haven't thrown my stash yet.

We'll go on vacation on May and i want my skin to Look Good. We'll be visiting our relatives back home and I know I will get sick and tired of explaining what I am going through. Oh the weather also bothers me. It'll be 35 degrees celcius or more. I hope Not to flare up badly due to Summer Heat.

If I use Steroids or protopic for the sake of my vacation, I'll be back to Square one.

This horrible nightmare makes me feel that I am Not a good mom. Because of my Skin, my hubby bathes our son coz my hands hurt. Sometimes i get easily irritated and impatient when he cries and I Start to scratch and Feel Bad about not having to Comfort my son. Deep inside i Wanna give up.

It Feels good to scratch Till it hurts. I will only stop if it bleeds. I know i Must Not do it coz it will only infect the Skin.

Arrrgh i just want to be myself Again.

My healed Arms developed itchy rashes. The inner side of my left elbow felt warm and itchy.

My Chest area is also rashy and itchy. I don't know if it's stress related but ever since I panicked Few weeks ago because of the Health of my baby. These bloody rashes started to appear.

Baby is 4 months old now and still breast feeding.

DAY 250 TSW- Super dry Hands

So after my child‘s birth, my arms and neck got slowly better. But my hands started to flare up.
I hope it will get better soon, because taking care of a newborn baby with so itchy scaly hands is so difficult.

all of my fingers are covered with flaky eczema

flaky fingers so itchy!

my legs and neck are almost back to normal

Remembering Dr. Fukaya‘s blog regarding the Types of Eruptions as seen on his book Color Atlas  of Steroid withdrawal from Corticosteroid patients with A.D http://www18.ocn.ne.jp/~steroids/eng.html

I classified mine as the type 3 which is the Geographically Diffusing Pattern. It says the type 3 is sometimes accompanied by a severe eczema on the hands.

DAY 241 TSW

I couldn‘t believe I‘ve reached day 241.

So as promised here are the photos of my hands. Healed or not, they look a lot different from my previous photos. After I gave birth, lots of skin shedding happened on my arms. I think the IV infusion helped a bit. I don‘t know, It‘s just my theory. It dried up then all of a sudden slowly getting back to normal. My hands flared the last, so I guess they will heal the last also.
My almost healed arms

mini flare on my right thumb

the tiny cuts are such pain in the ass

sooo itchy!
